By Tiasa Bhowal: An old bill from a Haryana restaurant has once again surfaced on social media. This memo from 1985 has left the internet mighty surprised. The bill shows a plate of Shahi Paneer priced at Rs 8 while a bowl of Dal Makhani was for Rs 5. Unbelievable, isn’t it? Lazeez Restaurant & Hotel, an eatery in Haryana, initially shared a picture of the old bill in 2013 on Facebook. However, it has once again emerged on the internet and netizens can’t stop talking about it.
At a time when it is pretty difficult to find a good chocolate for Rs 5, a restaurant about 40 years ago used to charge the same price for a bowl of Dal Makhani. The bill also included other delicacies, like Boondi Raita, and nine Rotis priced at Rs 5 and Rs 6, respectively.
"Bill dated 20th Dec, 85,” the post caption reads.
