PRIYANK SHARMA ON O SAJNA
For those unaware, O Sajna is the new version of Falguni Pathak's hit 90s song, Main Payal Hain Chankai. O Sajna is sung by Neha Kakkar and the music is given by Tanishk Bagchi.
Sharing his fond memories of Main Payal Hain Chankai, Priyank Sharma told IndiaToday.in, "I remember this song ever since I was a child. It is not just me being a fan of this song, but I think everybody is and so is family. We all relate to this song so much and we have great memories of this song. It is a pleasure to be a part of such an iconic number [O Sajna] and getting it back after so many years."
PRIYANK ON MOM'S REACTION TO O SAJNA
Priyank Sharma further opened up about his mom's reaction to O Sajna. "When I first heard O Sajna, I remember making my mother listen to the track because the old song, sung by Falguni Pathak, was her favourite as well. She is very naive in judging how the industry works. She is the proper audience from whom I can get feedback on something. Unka naive tareeke se judgement aata hain. When I played this song in front of her, I saw her dancing a little bit. And she generally likes grooving to Bollywood songs. I saw her smiling and grooving at the Payal Chankai part. She told me to do this song," added Priyank.
