In case you're planning to buy a new 5G smartphone, here are some options you can consider. We have narrowed down the list to phones under Rs 15,000. If you have a higher budget, you can refer to our previous coverage.

1. Moto G51 5G

If you prefer a smartphone with a clean Android OS, the Moto G51 5G is a good option to consider. However, do note, it still runs on Android 11, while Android 13 is already available on some high-end smartphones. The phone features a tall 6.8-inch IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it packs the Snapdragon 480+ chipset, which should handle basic tasks like web browsing and watching short videos on social media apps easily.

It also includes a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 5000mAh battery. If 5G does not matter and you want a 4G Motorola smartphone, the Moto G52 is also a good option.

2. Samsung Galaxy F13 5G

While the Moto G51 is a good option, some users may not be satisfied with its 64GB storage. In that case, the Samsung Galaxy M13 is a better option with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

It also gets a relatively smaller 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution and dual-SIM support. Otherwise, the phone carries the same 50-megapixel primary camera and 5000mAh battery. Another benefit is that the phone runs on Android 12 out of the box.

3. Redmi Note 10T 5G

Redmi Note smartphones are highly popular in India and the company's Redmi Note 10T from last year is still a decent choice - especially if you're upgrading your old Redmi smartphone.

The phone offers a stunning viewing experience on its 6.5-inch display, the speakers are loud, and the MediaTek Dimensity 700 is good enough for mild gaming. Similar to the Moto phone, it also runs on Android 11, which could be a bummer in 2022 and moving forward to 2023. The phone's 48-megapixel primary camera captures good photos in daylight, though, in low light, the image quality falters.

4. Poco M4 5G

Poco has become a very popular brand in India in a short time, and its Poco F4 5G, in our opinion, remains one of the best phones under Rs 30,000, at this point.

On the budget side, the Poco M4 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC remains one of the most affordable 5G phones in the country.
It features a modern design that may appeal to many young customers. Other key highlights include a 90Hz 6.58-inch display, a 50MP dual-rear camera system, a 5,000mAh battery and support for seven 5G bands.

The Poco M4 5G costs Rs 12,999.

5. iQoo Z6 5G

The iQoo Z6 Lite 5G is a value-for-money smartphone with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset. Other key features include a 6.68-inch display and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. However, you won't get the charger in the box, so do keep that in mind.

It ships with Android 12 and the iQoo Z6 5G is eligible for receiving Android 14 OS.
