Brazil striker Richarlison scored twice including a spectacular swivelling volley to get his nation's quest for a sixth World Cup title off to a perfect start in a 2-0 win over Serbia to top Group G on Thursday.

Raphinha is replaced by the in-form Gabriel Martinelli, which likely means Antony will move to the right wing.

And Brazil break the deadlock! Richarlison outran Pavlovic to the rebound and put it into the empty net after Milinkovic-Savic superbly saved a surprise first-time shot from Vinicius Junior.

Neymar wins a free kick for Brazil but fails to convert it. After the free kick, Richarlison receives the corner after it ricochets off a few players at the near post, but his close-range shot is stopped.
