By India Today Web Desk: Richa Chadha was recently mired in controversy for her statement on Twitter. The actress received backlash for her 'Galwan says hi' tweet on social media. After receiving backlash, the actress issued a public apology on the platform. Amid the controversy, the actress continues to shoot for her film, Girls Will Be Girls, in Dehradun. The shoot of Richa's production venture began on November 3, 2022. It is written and directed by debutant filmmaker, Shuchi Talati.
RICHA CONTINUES TO SHOOT FOR GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS
The Bollywood actress is presently shooting for Girls Will Be Girls in Dehradun. She will be wrapping up one schedule of the film as planned. Malayalam actress Kani Kusruti is playing one of the lead roles in the film.
In an official statement, Richa expressed her joy over starting her film. "I am grateful for these humble beginnings as I always wanted to get behind good quality indies. Shuchi and I have been friends since college and I am happy to be a part of her journey. I am confident she will make a good feature which has huge international prospects," she said.
RICHA CHADHA APOLOGISES
Meanwhile, she apologised for the controversial remark on Twitter. A part of her tweet read, "Even though it can never be my intention in the least, if the 3 words which are being dragged into a controversy have offended or hurt anyone, I apologise and also say that it would sadden me if, even unintentionally, my words have triggered this feeling in my brothers in the fauj (army) of which my own Nanaji has been an illustrious part (sic)."
On the work front, she will next be seen in Fukrey 3 with Varun Sharma, Pulkit Samrat and Manjot Singh. She will reprise Bholi Punjaban's role in the film.
