Caught on camera: AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan's aides manhandle anti-crime branch officer, 4 held

By Arvind Ojha: Two days after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan was sent to four-day judicial custody, Delhi Police arrested four of his close aides. Khan's associates were detained on Sunday over charges of assaulting an Anti-Crime Bureau (ACB) official while they conducted raids on his residence.
Khan has been arrested in relation to irregularities in the Delhi Waqf Board recruitment. The AAP MLA's properties in Jamia Nagar were raided on September 16 and a case was registered at Jamia Police Station.
Sources said that officials had reached Khan's property when his associates allegedly began to assault police personnel. They were seen manhandling authorities and Delhi Police detained them thereafter.

The ACB raided Amanatullah's "BAG MAN" Kaushar Alam Siddiqui's residence. Also known as Laddan, Siddiqui has been absconding and police and the anti-crime branch are on the lookout for his arrest. His residence was searched by the authorities on Friday, wherein Rs 12 lakh, illegal arms and two suspicious diaries were recovered. The red diary, as per sources, mentioned transactions worth crores of rupees and allegedly siphoned off to Amanatullah Khan.
Delhi Police registered a case under the Arms Act against Siddiqui.
AAP MLA ARRESTED
The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of Delhi Police raided several locations of Khan and his business partner, Hamid Ali Khan Masood Usman, on Friday. The officials recovered one beretta weapon and some cartridges along with Rs 12 lakh in cash during the raid.
The authorities recovered Rs 12 lakh cash as well as a weapon and live cartridges from Kausar Imam Siddiqui, who is an AAP worker and a close associate of Amanatullah Khan.
“As alleged in the FIR, Amanatullah Khan, while working as chairman of Delhi Waqf Board, illegally recruited 32 persons, violating all norms and government guidelines and with allegations of corruption and favouritism. The then CEO of Delhi Waqf Board had clearly given a statement and issued a memorandum against such illegal recruitment,” ACP, Anti-Corruption Bureau, said following the AAP MLA's arrest.
