A young woman was molested by three men in front of her fiance in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj. The young woman, who was going with her fiance, was stopped by the miscreants, who began performing obscene acts. Political parties like the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Samajwadi Party and the Congress have reacted to the issue.

When the miscreants began molesting the woman, her fiance fell at their feet and begged them to let his fiance go. However, the two boys were constantly doing obscene things to that girl.

The girl is a resident of Mauaima and the boy lives in Sorao. The boy had come to Maui to meet his fiancee when the accused caught the girl and the boy and started molesting her. One of them even started making videos on his mobile.

The police have taken cognizance of this video and filed a case against the accused. According to the Special Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shailesh Kumar, a case has been registered against three persons whose names are Vasik, Zikaria and Mashook.

Police said that one has fled to Mumbai and two others are also absconding.

BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi said, “The police have registered a case and are investigating. Some people have also been identified. There is a clear instruction in such cases that there should be no negligence. Such an incident will not be tolerated.”

SP spokesperson Anurag Bhadauria said “Crime and molestation against women in UP are on the rise. Fear of law and order and police in UP is over, and the government is doing marketing events and not women's safety.”

Congress leader Surendra Rajput said, “This video shows the difference between the words and actions of the government, which only talks about bravery by showing NCRB data.”
