Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is in Bihar, launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who snapped ties with the BJP and joined the Grand Alliance. Let the 2024 Lok Sabha elections come, Bihar public will wipe out the Lalu-Nitish duo, Amit Shah said. He was addressing 'Jana Bhavna Mahasabha' in Purnea on Friday.
"In 2014, you (Bihar CM Nitish Kumar) only had 2 LS seats, 'naa ghar ke rahe the, naa ghaat ke'. Let the 2024 LS elections come, Bihar public will wipe out the Lalu-Nitish duo. We're, with full majority, going to come to power here in 2025 polls," Amit Shah said.

Hitting out at the CM, the BJP leader said, "Nitish Kumar is not in favour of any political ideology. He can leave socialism and can join hands with Lalu Yadav and can do caste-based politics. He can leave socialism and sit with leftists and Congress."
Exuding confidence that the BJP will form a government with full majority in Bihar after 2025 assembly elections, Amit Shah slammed Nitish Kumar for switching parties for political gains.
"He has betrayed many since he entered politics. Lalu ji, beware that Nitish babu might sit in Congress's lap tomorrow leaving you behind," he said.
"Bihar public gave you (CM Nitish Kumar) benefit of the doubt for long, now they know that neither Lalu's party nor your party will come this time. Only PM Modi's lotus will bloom in Bihar this time," Amit Shah said.
"In a bid to become PM, Nitish Kumar backstabbed BJP to join hands with RJD, Congress," he said.
NITISH SITTING ON LALU'S LAP
"Nitish Kumar betrayed us to sit on Lalu Prasad Yadav's lap. Seemanchal will give a befitting reply to Nitish Kumar. Can he become the prime minister like this?", home minister asked. This is betraying the people of Bihar, he added.
The Union Minister landed at the Chunapur Air Force Station in Purnia at around 11 am on Friday, from where he went to the Rangbhoomi Ground to address the mega ‘Jansabha Rally’.
After addressing the Jan Bhawna rally, Amit Shah is set to leave for Kishanganj, where at 4 pm he will hold discussions with all MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and organisational office-bearers on the current political scenario in the state.
Shah asked Nitish Kumar, "What else have you done apart from sitting in Lalu's lap and saving your chair?"
"You cannot become PM if you just focus on saving your government. You need to understand the importance of country's security. You have to stick to your ideology to becomec the prime minister," Amit Shah said.
